Before submitting my manuscript for publication, I availed myself of the expert services of Sandra E. Haven who owns Bristol Services Intl., a critique and editing service.

I found Ms. Haven's personal advice regarding my short story to have been an invaluable aid in bringing it to its finished, polished form that was ultimately accepted by Bewildering Stories. What I appreciated about Ms. Haven's input was that she did not suggest any wholesale plot revisions, but restricted herself to more mechanical matters that I found to be of great benefit. In particular, I appreciated how she pointed out redundancies of expression within my manuscript, and her resulting advice as to how to more efficiently, and thus more effectively, present the work.

Ms. Haven is the former, longtime editor of Writer's Intl. Forum, a highly respected publication for writers with an international readership. Her rates are most reasonable, and I would unreservedly recommend her services for writers who feel as though they could benefit from such personal coaching.
